Yes — Our Brands Have Unclaimed Money With the State

California is holding money owed to iHeartRaves, INTO THE AM, and Emazing Lights. Here is exactly what was found, and the free way to claim it.

Prepared for Will & Brian · June 19, 2026
Source: California State Controller official database (claimit.ca.gov), searched June 19, 2026. Company entities only, no personal-name searches. Context: ABC7 report on $15B in CA unclaimed property.
$2,400.05
found across our 3 brands (conservative). Up to $3,790.05 if a duplicate-looking $1,390 Visa credit turns out to be two separate credits.
TL;DR
  • Real money, real records. 15 property records sit under our brand names in the state database, mostly uncashed vendor checks and credit balances (Visa, FedEx, ADT, Utah, Etsy).
  • Conservative total $2,400.05 (treating the twin $1,390 Visa credits as one). The biggest single item is a $1,390 Visa credit balance on INTO THE AM.
  • Claiming is 100% free at claimit.ca.gov. Never pay a finder who offers to recover it for a cut.
  • Will / Brian: gut-check the vendors below. Do these look like our refunds? Two small Long Beach records (†) need a sanity check on whether they are our INTO THE AM.

The two $1,390 Visa credits have consecutive property IDs and identical details, so they are likely one credit listed twice. Claim both and let the state reconcile. † The two Long Beach Wells Fargo cashier's checks are under "INTO THE AM LLC" at a non-Anaheim address. Confirm they are ours before claiming.

How to claim (free, official only)

California State Controller — claimit.ca.gov
Search the brand name, hit CLAIM on each record above (match by Property ID), then CONTINUE TO FILE CLAIM. Most under-$5K business claims with a matching address clear without heavy documentation.
MissingMoney (NAUPA) — missingmoney.com
Official multi-state search. Worth a pass for any state the brands have banked or operated in beyond California. Not yet run.
One warning before anyone acts

Never pay a finder or respond to a call / text / email offering to recover unclaimed money for a percentage. Claiming is always free on the sites above. Paid services just skim a fee off money we are owed for nothing.

Questions for Will & Brian

  1. Do these vendors line up with real refunds / credits we never collected (Visa, FedEx, ADT, Utah, Etsy)?
  2. The two Long Beach "INTO THE AM LLC" cashier's checks (†) — ours, or a different entity?
  3. If this checks out, who files? Camille as a one-time finance task, and do we make an annual re-check a line in the close?
Source: California State Controller (claimit.ca.gov), searched June 19, 2026. Amounts and Property IDs pulled directly from the state records returned for each brand name. Over-broad result sets were filtered to records whose owner name matches the brand. Personal-name searches excluded by request.
