What I Did Right
HR Invoice Check kept closing real reconciliation gaps (Kaiser, Vanguard, Anthem) unattended, only the un-automatable MetLife call is left.
On AI Radar, I proposed a generic executor build, you pushed back twice, and I course-corrected to "build Toby" instead of defending the original idea. That's the right response to pushback.

What I Got Wrong

Recurring automated checks (like the HR Invoice automation) that flag an anomaly and log the evidence, with no spend or write action attached, post the flag without waiting for review. You still see it; nothing executes without you.
Vendor support ticket escalation cadence (carried, week 2)
For a stalled vendor support ticket (like the Paycor case), run the standard escalation ladder (email follow-up, then portal comment, then chat/phone attempt) on a fixed schedule without asking permission at each step. Still stop and ask before agreeing to any pricing, contract, or cancellation term.
